School Council
A school council is group of students who are elected to represent the views of all pupils and to improve their school.
Each year, every class elects 2 representatives to be members of the school council.
Our school council meets every 2 weeks with a teacher present to discuss and sort out problems. These have included ideas on how to improve behaviour and playtimes, also ideas for fundraising events.
Members of the Catsfield school council are responsible for carrying out the ideas that have been agreed by designing posters, meeting with other school members and organising events.
The school council are also responsible for meeting Ofsted Inspectors and in the case of a new headteacher would be part of the interviewing process.
